After my husband survived a stroke at the age of 34, I decided to turn over a new leaf and change our eating habits and introduce a healthier way of living. Since then, I am dedicated to improving our physical and mental health by making small but powerful changes in our life.
When I first started researching about what we were eating and how it can affect our health I was startled by how little most of us know what we’re actually putting in our body. I had to educate myself thoroughly about the food we are eating, what ingredients should be best avoided, which are beneficial to our health and why. What I have found out is that a healthy diet can be stronger than any medication and that diet it is the key to keeping your health and even reversing many illnesses.
If you think about it twice it’s quite obvious. Our body can only be as good as the fuel you put in it. That’s why it was such a shock for me to see that my family and friends mostly didn’t know or even care what they were eating. Even after telling them what was inside those processed products they’re buying and that it can virtually make you sick they didn’t make an effort to change anything in their lives. It’s not that they didn’t like the taste of healthy cooked meals but for most eating processed food is just more convenient than eating real food.
It’s true that changing your diet and lifestyle is a lot of work. You have to make an effort to learn a lot of things and make profound changes to the way you’re shopping, eating, cooking and living. You have to reorganize yourself and loose bad habits to make a successful shift to a healthier future. It isn’t always easy but introducing a healthier diet has made a huge difference in my family. I would like all of my friends to experience these benefits as well. That’s why I started this website to share knowledge about food and diet and to help organize your life in a healthier way. I want to share my experience and help you to make those changes easier and with less effort.
